Get Jammin’– Jammin in the park will be held on Sunday, Sept. 3 from 1-7 p.m. at Main Street Park, Waynesboro. The event will feature all-day music, arts and crafts vendors, kids activities, raffles, food trucks, and craft beer. Tickets are $15 in advance ($20 at the door), ages 12 and under are free.

Unleash your Inner Viking– The Slavic and Viking Festival will be held in Fort Loudoun, from Sept. 1 to 4. The festival will feature combat demonstrations in eastern and western styles, many vendors selling items from the Viking Age, music bands from Europe and America performing period music, an opportunity to taste Slavic and Viking cuisine, and many games and activities.

Fill up on Food Trucks- The Boonsboro Food Truck Festival will take place on Sunday, Sept. 3, from noon to 6 p.m. This family-friendly event will feature live music, and performing arts for children, a corn hole tournament, garden tractor pull, axe throwing, and a Beer, Wine, & Craft Cocktails Garden. Event is rain or shine at Shafer Park located at 37 Park Dr., Boonsboro, MD.

Stroll with the Sunflowers– Lesher Poultry Farm in Chambersburg is a fun and free outing that is full of breathtaking views. 10 acres of sunflower fields are located along Rt. 914 (Swamp Fox Road), starting where Rt. 316 and Rt. 914 converge. https://www.sunflowerwatch.com/current-news

Have Fun with First Friday– Enjoy a colorful evening in Waynesboro with First Friday. Mainstreet Waynesboro will hold a free chalk art contest; bring your chalk and decorate a square for a chance to win prizes. There will also be live music, and food from Lady Jays. First Friday will be held Friday, Sept. 1, 5 to 7 p.m. at Main Street Park.
