Take in a show. The final round of the A Cappella & Unplugged competition will be held Saturday, July 15 at 7 p.m. Five finalists will take to the steps of the Franklin County Courthouse to perform two songs and vie for the $500 grand prize.

Support the Library. The Blue Ridge Summit Free Library will hold its 47th annual Ice Cream Social and Book Sale from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, July 15, on the library grounds. The event is a fundraiser for the library with live music, goods for purchase, children’s activities, and of course ice cream.

Celebrate Christmas in July. Market in the Park in Waynesboro will feature a Christmas in July theme on Saturday, July 15, 8:30 a.m. to Noon. Attendees of market in the park will receive a raffle ticket for a chance to win gifts from market vendors.

Grab some Grub. The Mercersburg Summer Food Truck Festival will be held Sunday, July 16 at 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the corner lot of Leidy’s Custom Woodworking. A variety of food trucks will be available, as well as products from Cold Spring Hollow Distillery. There will also be children’s activities and entertainment.

Step back in History. Saturday, July 15 will be a day filled with activity, topped off with the historical re-enactment and light show depicting the history of the 1864 Ransoming, Burning and Rebirth of Chambersburg. Events will be held 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. see link with schedule.
