Chambersburg Community Theatre Spreads Christmas Cheer this Season

CHAMBERSBURG– A heartwarming Christmas tale is set to unfold on the stage of the Chambersburg Community Theatre as they present “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever,” a hilarious and heartwarming production that will bring laughter and cheer to audiences of all ages.

The play, adapted from the best-selling young adult novel of the same name, tells the story of the Herdman kids, the most inventively awful kids in history. When they crash Sunday school and demand parts in the annual Christmas pageant, the whole town panics.

As the Herdmans collide head-on with the story of Christmas, chaos ensues, but amidst the mayhem, a surprising transformation takes place. The Herdman kids, despite their reputation, begin to understand the true meaning of Christmas, and their newfound understanding has a profound impact on those around them.

“The Best Christmas Pageant Ever” is a heartwarming and hilarious reminder of the true spirit of the season. It is a story about love, forgiveness, and redemption, and it is sure to leave audiences with a smile on their faces and a renewed sense of hope.

The Chambersburg Community Theatre production of “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever” will run for four performances:

  • Thursday, Nov. 16, at 7 p.m.
  • Friday, Nov. 17, at 7 p.m.
  • Saturday, Nov. 18, at 2 p.m.
  • Sunday, Nov. 19, at 2 p.m.
