GREENCASTLE- The Greencastle-Antrim Food Pantry will distribute food on Wednesday, July 12, from 9 a.m. to noon. To receive food, individuals are asked to stay in their cars and follow the line to receive their items. The pantry is open on the first Thursday of each month from 6:30 to 8 pm and the second and third Wednesday mornings of the month from 9 a.m. to noon. Greencastle-Antrim Food Pantry is run by the Greencastle-Antrim Chamber of Commerce and is located at the Greencastle Presbyterian Church. The pantry provides food for those in the Greencastle-Antrim School District. If you are interested in donating to the pantry, they are in need of nonperishable food items such as: cereal, spaghetti sauce in plastic or cans, canned pasta (Chef Boy R Dee), rice mixes, pasta mixes, soup, canned meats, and canned fruit and applesauces. Donations can be dropped off at the pantry during their open hours or at the Greencastle-Antrim Chamber of Commerce office.
