Say hello to Nala, our Pet of the Week! Nala came to us in December 2022 and is still searching for her forever home! This energetic girl would do great in a home that has a yard or is planning to frequently take her out and about to get all that energy out.
Nala loves zooming around the yard and playing with toys! She adores rope toys (especially when playing tug!) and stuffed animals and will happily spend the day chasing them around. She is very talkative when playing, and will let you know she is having a good time! Nala has made great progress on walking politely on the leash, and walks significantly better on a harness and would recommend a harness in her forever home. Nala knows sit and down and is eager to learn more!
This three-year-old pup has been hit or miss with what furry friends she makes, but would not do well in a home with cats. We would be open to trying Nala in a meet-and-greet with other dogs. Nala is awesome with children but may not do well with young kids not used to bouncy, energetic pups.
While she loves playing, Nala also loves to cuddle! She is happy to lay by your feet or in your lap to get belly rubs. Nala loves to snuggle up in a fluffy dog bed or with a big comforter, and settles down well after she gets her energy out. If you are looking for a goofy, sweet companion Nala is your girl!
