Celebrate a local business. CK Auto & Truck LLC will host a customer appreciation event in honor of five years in business Friday, Aug. 26, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 1622 E. Main St., Waynesboro. The event will include hot dogs, burgers, chips and beverage, games and WAYZ on site from noon to 2 p.m.  

Shop small. A craft/vendor/food truck event will be held Saturday, Aug. 27, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Blue Ridge Fire & Rescue Station 1, 13063 Monterey Lane Blue Ridge Summit.

Attend a bash. Knick Knack Pittie Packs’s 10-year birthday bash will be held Saturday, Aug. 27, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Quincy Ox Roast Association, 8098 Anthony Hwy., Waynesboro. There will be carnival games, vendors, DJ, raffles the Balloon Guy, food and more.

Be corny. The 41st Annual Shippensburg Corn Festival is going on Saturday, Aug. 27, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. rain or shine in downtown Shippensburg. More than 250 craft and food vendors will be on hand, plus free family entertainment.

Rock out. Band-Aide returns to DuCar Farm Sunday, Aug. 28, from 1 to 8 p.m. at 123 Kauffman Road East, Chambersburg. High Frequency will perform and more.
