SMITHSBURG, MD—Grant-writing and nonprofit organization support firm Ghost Writer LLC has hired an additional agency advocate to provide development and marketing resources for nonprofit organizations.

Christina Williams, of Smithsburg, Md., brings an extensive background from the education sector and foundations supporting public schools. She worked for Leadership Washington County and helped found OnTrack Washington County, an organization that seeks to improve educational and workforce outcomes in Washington County, Md.

“Throughout all these work experiences, my goal has been to connect individuals to others and opportunities that can support and enhance their organization’s mission and purpose. This led me to Ghost Writer and the amazing work it does in development and marketing,” Williams said.

Williams said she is most looking forward to being part of a solution that amplifies the great work of nonprofit organizations. As an agency advocate, she serves as a client’s primary contact, bridging projects across the talents of the 13-person Ghost Writer team.

Williams is a 2012 graduate of Leadership Washington County and was named one of Maryland’s Top 100 Women in 2018. It was through those learning opportunities that she developed a drive to find a niche in which her talents could be best utilized.
