Get your popcorn ready: The college baseball and softball postseason is underway.

And if you’re a fan of the Chambersburg Trojans, there are more than a handful of college stars to keep an eye on this weekend, especially in the local area.

Just from two schools in our backyard — Wilson’s softball team and PSU Mont Alto’s baseball squad — have a combined nine players with Chambersburg roots leading them to the postseason.

In College Corner this month, we’ll take a look at those players and many other former Trojans who have competed in the college arena. A lot has happened since our last update in February, so if you have any of that popcorn left, dig in as we dive in with updates on 54 former Trojans competing at the college level.

Next month, College Corner coverage will shift back to Waynesboro, and then Greencastle-Antrim, before rotating back to Chambersburg. Additions for College Corner can be sent to Andy Sandrik via email at [email protected].
