The Connection to Host Writers’ Workshop


WAYNESBORO – The Connection, a local organization dedicated to empowering women, will host a writers’ workshop on Saturday, May 18. The event will feature Bella Kauffman, an experienced self-published author and blogger, who will share her expertise on finishing a book, publishing, and marketing.

The $15 workshop, which runs from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., will be held at The Connection’s headquarters at 112 Walnut Street. Attendees can expect to learn practical strategies for completing their long-awaited book projects, as well as insights into the self-publishing process and effective marketing techniques.

Kauffman, the author of multiple self-published books, including “A Different Kind of Beautiful,” is known for her dynamic speaking style and her ability to address the unique challenges faced by self-published authors. During the workshop, she will also allocate time for a Q&A session, allowing attendees to ask questions and receive personalized guidance.

The event is open to the public, and registration is available on The Connection’s website at The workshop fee includes coffee, tea, and snacks, making it an affordable and engaging learning experience for writers of all levels.

The Connection, a non-profit organization, has been hosting these writers’ workshops for the past three years, providing a platform for local authors to share their expertise and inspire others to pursue their writing dreams.
