WAYNESBORO- The charming town of Waynesboro, invites everyone to celebrate the holiday season at its second annual Sip & Stroll event on Saturday, Dec. 16, from 1 to 4:30 p.m. This festive occasion promises a delightful exploration of the downtown area, tantalizing tastings, and a joyful atmosphere.
The adventure begins at Main Street Park, 25 East Main Street, where participants receive their passports. These essential guides lead the way to more than a dozen local and regional producers offering an array of tempting samples. From craft beers and wines to seasonal cocktails and delectable bites, every palate is sure to find something to savor.
As one strolls along the wide sidewalks, the festive atmosphere and beautiful holiday decorations will fill the air with cheer. The quaint shops and restaurants, adorned for the season, will create a truly enchanting winter wonderland.
Upon completion of the tasty journey, participants can turn in their completed passports at Rough Edges Brewing, 91 West Main Street, for a chance to win fantastic prizes, adding an extra layer of excitement to the experience.
To embrace the festive spirit, the event will also host an ugly sweater contest. Time to rummage through the wardrobe and unearth the most outrageous holiday knitwear for a chance to showcase one’s festive spirit!
