5 Things To Do This Weekend

Run for a Cause. The Cumberland Valley Breast Care Alliance will host their annual 5K on Saturday, Sept. 23 at 9:30 a.m. The run will take place in Chambersburg at the Tower at Falling Spring – Next to Coyle Free Library.

Catch a Game. Several area high schools will face off in a variety of sports this weekend. Varsity football, field hockey, soccer, golf and more are scheduled this weekend. For a complete list of area schedules check out the round-up here.

Take in a Flick. The Waynesboro Church of the Brethren will present the movie “Moses, The Prophet Who Spoke with God Face-to-Face” this weekend. The church is located at 117 South Church St. in Waynesboro. http://www.cobwaypa.org/

Get Chatty. Attend the ribbon cutting for the Studio at Chatty Chameleon on Saturday, Sept. 23 at noon. The Chatty Chameleon is located at 27 Center Square in Greencastle. The Studio at Chatty Chameleon is a new addition to the Chatty Chameleon that offers artistic projects for everyone to enjoy.

Play Some Music. The Waynesboro Bluegrass Music is back. Join Music Makers on Sunday, Sept. 24, 2 to 4 p.m., for the Waynesboro Bluegrass Hootenanny, led by Johnny Calamari and Brad Munn. Grab your instruments, call your friends and enjoy the music. Admission is free.
