GREENCASTLE- On Saturday, September 16, Greencastle Police Department and local Law Enforcement Officers will be participating with our 4th Annual “Fish with A Cop” event. The event will be held at the Greencastle Sportsman’s Association in Greencastle, PA. and run from 9:30a.m. to 2:30p.m with a rain date of September 17.

The goal of this event is to introduce the youths to our local Police Officers and at the same time create lifelong memories for the youths. Hopefully, they will see Police in a different light. Building a lasting positive relation amongst our youths within our communities.

Participants will learn about skills, equipment, techniques, and safety of freshwater fishing in Pennsylvania. At the same time, participants will be mentored by a local Law Enforcement Officer in hopes to see them in a positive manner.

Children between the ages of 9-17 will be participating in this event. If you know of any child that would like to spend the day fishing with a Police officer, please contact Officer Jim Bradley at 717- 597-9506 ext. 244 or send an email to [email protected]. Registration is limited to the first 75 applicants.
