CHAMBERSBURG— The Chambersburg Memorial YMCA will host the Rally in the Valley Pickleball Tournament Oct. 13-14.

The tournament will feature men’s, women’s, and mixed doubles in both under-60 and 60+ age groups. Participants who register before Sept. 10 will receive a $10 discount on registration and a T-shirt and SWAG bag. The last day to enter the tournament is Oct. 6.

The tournament will be held indoors at the Chambersburg Memorial YMCA. The event is organized by the Greater Chambersburg Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the Chambersburg Memorial YMCA. Funds raised will support local businesses through the Greater Chambersburg Chamber of Commerce, a nonprofit organization, and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Chambersburg Memorial YMCA.

Last year’s tournament was a success, and the organizers are excited to announce the second annual Rally in the Valley Pickleball tournament. The event is expected to draw participants from across the region.

Pickleball is a popular sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton, and ping-pong. It is played on a smaller court than tennis, with a paddle and a plastic ball with holes. The sport is easy to learn and is suitable for players of all ages and skill levels.

The tournament promises to be a fun and exciting event for players and spectators alike. Participants will have the opportunity to compete against other players in their age group and skill level, while spectators can enjoy watching the matches and cheering on their favorite players.

For more information about the tournament, including registration details and rules, visit the Chambersburg Memorial YMCA website or the Greater Chambersburg Chamber of Commerce website.
