WAYNESBORO- Renfrew Museum and Park will offer free live music to the public every Thursday evening in July as part of the 2023 Judy Elden Memorial Concert Series.

The concerts take place on the lawn behind the Museum House, where visitors can enjoy the scenic views and the sounds of local musicians. The series features a variety of genres, from folk and blues to country and rock.

The last two concerts of the Judy Elden Memorial Concert Series will feature local musicians with diverse styles and influences. On July 20, singer-songwriter Jon Ingels will perform solo, showcasing his lyrical content that is a mixture of storytelling, timeless topics and geographic imagery. His songs are backed by folk chord patterns, simple melodies and a blues-driven rhythm. He draws from all his influences, ranging from blues to country, rock to reggae and all points in between. On July 27, the acoustic duo East of Antietam will return to the Renfrew stage. The husband and wife team of Jim and Robin Osik will entertain the audience with easy listening hits, country, folk, classic rock and more.

All concerts are free to the public, but donations are gratefully accepted. Visitors are encouraged to bring their own chairs or blankets to sit on, as well as their own refreshments. Renfrew Museum and Park reminds guests that it is a non-smoking facility and that alcohol is prohibited on the property. The site also operates as a carry-in/carry-out waste park, meaning that visitors are responsible for removing their own trash and keeping the grounds clean.

During concert evenings, guests can also stop by the Welcome Tent, located west of the Royer Milk House, for information on upcoming programs and to browse the selection of museum shop merchandise. Items include Renfrew apparel, children’s toys, pet items and more. Assorted pre-packaged light snacks and bottled water are also available. Payments can be made by cash or credit card. Every purchase supports the mission of Renfrew Museum and Park.
