WAYNESBORO – Waynesboro High School has been ranked the number one high school in Franklin County according to the US News & World Report’s annual rankings. The school, which is part of the Waynesboro Area School District, was ranked 4,371 in the National Rankings.

The ranking is based on several factors, including college readiness, graduation rates, and state test scores. Waynesboro High School’s success is a testament to the hard work and dedication of its students, teachers, and staff.

The school district has also recently welcomed a new superintendent, Rita Sterner-Hine, who is motivated to continue the district’s success. Sterner-Hine brings years of experience in education and a passion for student achievement to her new role.
