Blow your whistle. The Waynesboro Model Railroad Club will host a holiday open house Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 10-11, from noon to 4 p.m. at 3291 Waynecastle Road. Bring cash for the train set raffle.

Dine with Santa. Hardee’s in Greencastle is hosting lunch with Santa on Saturday, Dec. 10 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

View pretty lights. Grant Shook Christmas Lights will be lit from dusk to 10 p.m. through New Year’s. The light show features tens of thousands of computer-controlled lights synchronized to tradition and fun Christmas songs. Listen on 107.1FM. Intersection of Grant Shook and Filer roads in Greencastle. The best approach is from Worleytown Road and then northward on Grant Shook. Please be respectful of the neighbors and do not block driveways or park on grass.

View more pretty lights. Volvo Construction Equipment, 304 Volvo Way in Shippensburg will offer the 3rd Annual Volvo Holiday Lights Drive-Thru Fri., Dec. 9-Sunday, Dec. 11, from 6 to 8 p.m. The display is free.

Visit a live nativity–or two. Refuge Tabernacle will host a live nativity Saturday, Dec. 10, from 6-9 p.m. at Zullinger Community Center. Hawley Memorial Presbyterian Church will host a live nativity Sunday, Dec. 11, from 6-8 p.m. at the church in Blue Ridge Summit.
