WAYNESBORO–The Arts Alliance of Greater Waynesboro invites the public to an opening reception for a new exhibit in Gallery 50, “IN-SIGHTS” on Friday, Aug. 5 from 5:30 – 8 p.m. at 50 W. Main St., Waynesboro, PA.

The exhibit showcases the work of five artists, many of whom will be at this opening. The reception will include refreshments and live music from the Note Riders, in the adjacent Music Makers’ space. Admission is free.

“We are delighted to feature the work of these fine artists: paintings by Kirby Heltebridle, Robyn Jacobs, Patricia McCleary, and Ann Ruppert; along with photographs by Dan Mangan,” said Marti Yeager, Gallery 50 Curator. “Each piece of art reveals the artists’ unique insights into what they see before them, either visually or in their mind’s eye. In other words, that which they have in-sight.”

Following the reception, the exhibit will be on display through October 29. Gallery 50 is open on Fridays from 5 – 8 p.m., Saturdays from 11:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m., and by appointment. In addition, the full exhibit will soon be available to browse and purchase on the gallery’s online shop at:  www.gallery50-aagw.square.site

Gallery 50 is owned and operated by the Arts Alliance of Greater Waynesboro and spotlights fine art and high-quality crafts from local artists and artisans.
