Man surrenders after morning stand-off on North Potomac

WAYNESBORO—The report of a domestic violence incident led to the closure of the 200 block of North Potomac Street for several hours Tuesday morning.

According to Waynesboro Police, officers were called out at 7:17 a.m. Tuesday, May 24, to 223 N. Potomac St. for a report of domestic violence incident with an armed subject in the residence.

All resident occupants had evacuated leaving the subject alone within the residence, according to a police report.

A perimeter was established and attempts were made to communicate with the subject, who failed to respond. PSP SERT was contacted and responded and Christopher Repman, 37, surrendered shortly before noon Tuesday, May 24.

Repman was taken into custody and faces multiple charges. He is being held in Franklin County Jail pending a preliminary hearing.
