QUICK BITES: Paul’s Country Market

This trip, we stopped into Paul’s Country Market located 6374 Nunnery Road, just outside of Waynesboro.

They say you shouldn’t visit a grocery store, especially when you are hungry, but we did this on purpose so we’d be sure to try everything we like.

Of course, everyone knows about Paul’s Country Market. It’s an authentic country store, market and greenhouse.

We tried the deviled eggs (OMG!) and ordered a sandwich at the deli counter. Who knew they make their own potato chips? Hard pretzels? Of course, their own seasoned parmesan.

We took a seat in Paul’s Lunch Pail dining room and took just a few minutes to relax and have lunch.

They pretty much have everything you need, from a fully stocked meat counter, fresh made sandwiches, friendly staff, baked goods, hot bar, jams, jellies and a cheese counter.

On second, thought, next time, maybe we shouldn’t go there hungry!
