WAYNESBORO—First responders, educators and their families are invited as guests of the next Waynesboro Community Concert Association event in appreciation of their dedicated work in the community.

The fifth concert of WCCA’s 84th season will be held Sunday, April 3, and will feature Trio Pacheco—siblings Nathan, Elizabeth and Rebecca—with love songs from the world of opera and musical theater.

These exceptional musicians, from an extraordinarily musical northern Virginia family are appearing in a unique concert.

Nathan is a classically trained tenor with a passion for reaching out and uplifting people through music. The 2012 PBS special “Yanni, Young Voices” introduced Nathan to the world, and Disney released his debut album. Nathan completed a solo world tour not long after and is featured globally. His is a very special voice.

Big sister Elizabeth is a lyric soprano with significant operatic experience. Her repertoire extends to musical theater. She appeared here with Zephyros Winds in 2017 accompanied by her husband, Saxton, on bassoon. Elizabeth has sung with the opera of Puerto Rico, and currently teaches voice a Wake Forest University.

On keyboard will be Rebecca, a music producer and CD recording artist. She is an active collaborator in the music business as a principal vocal coach, pianist, conductor and music director for highly respected music companies such as the Dallas Opera.

Doors open at 2:15 p.m. for a 3 p.m. concert at the Waynesboro Area Senior High School on East Second Street. Handicap parking is available near the doors, with ample additional parking in the back or on the street.

Tickets are available at the door or online at www.waynesboropaconcerts.org for $25.

Students in kindergarten through high school are invited to attend concerts free of charge. Those in K-8th grade must be accompanied by an adult.

Season subscriptions are available and include reciprocal concerts hosted by Gettysburg, PA and Hagerstown, MD community concerts. For more information call 717-609-6853.
