CHAMBERSBURG—The Franklin County Commissioners, along with the Franklin County Office of Veterans Affairs, will host a drive-through Veteran Appreciation Expo this spring.
Set for 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 14, the Veteran Appreciation Expo will be held at the Marine Corps League, 450 Grant St., Chambersburg, and will put a new spin on the annual Veterans Affairs Expo, which had originally been scheduled for March.
Franklin County veterans attending this drive-through event will receive information on available resources and services along with one free barbecue chicken meal, including sides, with valid proof of military service. Meals will be available to the public for a $12 donation, payable by cash or check, while supplies last.
Additional details will be available closer to the event. Pre-registration is requested but not required.
