STATE COLLEGE–The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory in effect from 2 to 11 a.m. Thursday.
Wet snow is expected across the region, with a total accumulation of 1 to 3 inches.
Motorists should plan on slippery road conditions, especially during the morning commute.
Temperatures are expected to fall steadily from the mid 30s at the onset of the snow to the mid and upper 20s during the peak morning commute hours, which will cause freezing on any untreated wet roads.
