WAYNESBORO–First Energy has announced there will be a planned power outage that will affect local residents on Wednesday, Dec. 22.
The outage will allow for facility upgrades and will affect customers in the vicinity of South Broad Street. Those affected will experience a service interruption from approximately 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
All customers that will be affected by the outage and who have a valid phone number on file with First Energy will receive a phone call to notify them of the outage.
In the event of inclement weather, the planned outage will be rescheduled for Thursday, Dec. 23, 2021.
