Renfrew Museum & Park announces events

WAYNE HEIGHTS—Renfrew Park & Museum will host the following events this holiday season:

A Midcentury Christmas, Nov. 23 at 7 p.m.: This virtual program will harken back to the era of Edgar ad Emma Nicodemus and Christmas in America from the 1940s through the 1960s. It will be presented by Leslie Goddard, an award-winning actress and scholar who has been portraying famous women and presenting history lectures for more than 10 years.

Holiday Farmstead Taste of Tour, Dec. 7, 10, 14 and 17: This farm-to-table experience offers guests the opportunity to sample seasonal, locally-sourced fare inspired by the traditions of Renfrew’s historic Pennsylvania German farmstead. The meal will be served in the Wagon Shed Room inside the Victorian barn. Servers will dress in period attire. Reservations are sold by tables of 2-6 guests, starting at $50 each.
