Franklin County to celebrate local industry at 36th annual appreciation dinner

GREENCASTLE — The contributions of local employers are the focus of the Franklin County Area Development Corporation’s 36th annual Industry Appreciation Dinner on Thursday, Sept. 12.

The event, at Green Grove Gardens, 1032 Buchanan Trail E., will begin with a reception at 5:30 p.m., followed by programming at 6:30 p.m.

Attendees can expect special presentations, including the recognition of the Small Business of the Year and the Large Business of the Year. Additionally, the prestigious Zane A. Miller Award will be presented to an individual who has made notable impacts in community and economic development.

The Industry Appreciation Dinner is not only a celebration but also a prime networking opportunity, typically attracting about 450 people. Organizers encourage local business leaders and community members to participate in what they promise to be an engaging evening, highlighting the role of industry in Franklin County’s economic landscape.
