Three Chambersburg wrestlers — Gabe Nolan, Jaccob Stoner, and Frank Barrientos — had an opportunity to compete on one of the biggest stages their sport has to offer: The US Marine Corps Nationals in Fargo, N.D.
Also known as “Fargo Nationals,” the trio of Trojan grapplers combined to chalk up three wins against the toughest Freestyle/Greco-Roman competition in the nation. Stoner led the crew, racking up a 2-2 record at 190 pounds in the 16U Greco-Roman division. Nolan, at 132 pounds, went 1-2 in 16U Greco-Roman. Barrientos, a heavyweight competing in both the Junior Freestyle and Greco-Roman divisions, went 0-2 in each bracket.
