Chad Reichard, Washington Township.
Chad is the Washington Township zoning and planning officer. He explained his duties as well as the theories behind zoning and planning regulation and the operation thereof. He informed the Club that Washington Township began zoning regulations in 1973. Over the years the ordinances have been updated to stay current with evolving needs, including environmental and societal changes and conditions. Just as the Township is growing and changing, regulations must also be kept timely.
