CHAMBERSBURG- In a heartwarming display of community service and work-based learning, Mr. Boxler and his HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) students from the Franklin County Career and Technology Center dedicated a week of their time to ensure a comfortable summer camp experience at Rhodes Grove Camp.
As the summer camp season approaches, the HVAC students rolled up their sleeves and got to work tuning up the camp’s air conditioning units. Their efforts aimed to ensure that campers, counselors, and staff would enjoy a cool and comfortable environment throughout the warm summer months.
The students’ involvement in this project not only provided them with valuable hands-on experience but also instilled in them the importance of giving back to the community. Their dedication and hard work exemplified the wise words of Muhammad Ali, “Service to others is the rent you pay for your room here on earth.”
