Aim. Shoot. Release. Buttonwood Nature Center will host its second annual Sporting Clays Shoot Fundraiser on Friday, May 10, from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Orvis Hill Country Shooting Grounds in Fairfield. The event includes registration with coffee and donuts, a safety introduction, 15 shooting stations with 100 targets, snacks and water, a catered lunch, and awards for the top 3 finishers. The $125 registration fee covers all of these activities, and participants can bring their own shotguns or rent them on-site. Golf carts and ammunition are also available for rental. This fundraiser supports the important work of The Institute, so come out and enjoy a fun day of sporting clays while supporting a great cause.

Have a Brew. The Boro Brew Fest returns on Saturday, May 11, from noon to 4 p.m., featuring more than 40 different beers, ciders, spirits, and wines for attendees 21 and over to sample. The event at Main Street Park will also offer great food, live music, and the chance to win prizes like beer for life and gift cards to local eateries. General admission tickets are $30 in advance or $35 at the gate, while VIP tickets for $50 provide early entry, a t-shirt, and other exclusive perks. Proceeds from the festival will support Mainstreet Waynesboro’s downtown revitalization efforts.

Shop for Mom. The 1884 Market House and 1883 Schiers Market in Chambersburg will host a Mother’s Day Festival on Saturday, May 11, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The event aims to celebrate mothers and provide an opportunity for visitors to find unique gifts from local artisans, crafters, and collectors. The festival features a diverse collection of handmade items, including jewelry and home decor, allowing attendees to find thoughtful and personal gifts that express their love and gratitude for the mothers in their lives.

Celebrate Spring. The Shady Grove Community Center in Greencastle will be bustling with activity on Saturday, May 11, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for the annual Spring Festival. Lena, the owner of Lena’s Nail & Styling Salon, has organized the popular event which will feature an array of craft vendors, delicious food trucks, exciting kids activities, and plenty of family fun.

Flourish at the Festival. The Flourish Festival, a Mother’s Day celebration, will take place on Saturday, May 11, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Ninety Thirty, 9030 Sharpsburg Pike, Fairplay, MD. The event features an entrance fee of $8 for adults, while kids can attend for free. Attendees can look forward to a variety of offerings, including delicious food, an array of local vendors showcasing their products, fun cookie decorating activities, live music performances, and a range of free activities tailored specifically for children.
