Antietam Historical Association (AHA) will host the Third Thursday Biography Breakfast April 18 at Main Street Diner, 1543 E. Main St., Waynesboro.
The breakfast starts at 8 a.m. and is open to the public; however, reservations are required, and all attendees must purchase breakfast from the restaurant.
The subject of the round-table discussion will be Waynesboro industrialist and business leader Daniel Norris Benedict (1882–1976). A native Quincy Township, Benedict began his career as a teacher in his home district. In 1902, he became a clerk at Frick Co. and held various positions, including president. He also served as chairman of the board of Citizens National Bank of Waynesboro and as a director of various other corporations.
