Experience Enchantment. The Little Mermen, New York City’s premier Disney tribute band, is set to captivate audiences at the Capitol Theatre in Chambersburg, on Saturday, April 6. Founded by singer-songwriter Alexis Babini, the band aims to bring Disney-fueled nostalgia and sing-along experiences to a generation that grew up on the beloved Disney classics. Performing in costume, the talented musicians of The Little Mermen will take the stage to deliver all the Disney hits, from the timeless tunes of The Jungle Book and The Lion King to the modern anthems of Frozen. Concessions will be available for purchase at both the 2 p.m. family-friendly show and the 7 p.m. Disney After Dark event, which will also feature adult Disney-themed drinks, beer, and wine.

Support Local Music. On Friday, April 5, from 6 to 8 p.m. join Music Makers as they host “Across The Pond” at 46 W. Main St. Across the Pond is everyone’s favorite Irish band! Traditional Celtic Music – the way you like to hear it played. Across the Pond is a high-energy band playing traditional and contemporary Celtic music.

Create Fashion. Wearable Art Workshop is a fun and creative workshop hosted by the Council For The Arts in Chambersburg on Sunday, April 7, from noon to 3 p.m. Attendees will have the opportunity to make their own unique piece of wearable art under the guidance of artist Holly Baker. All necessary supplies will be provided, including paint, sequins, jewels, buttons, glitter, trim, and ribbon. Participants can bring their own wearable item like a jacket, pants, or shoes, or choose from items available on-site for an additional donation. Light refreshments and a complimentary mimosa will be served while attendees craft their wearable masterpieces. The cost to attend is $25, and the event is open to adults of all ages.

Unveil the Past. Step into a world of wonder and discovery as the Sharpsburg Museum of History throws open its doors for a grand re-opening celebration. After an extensive renovation, this beloved institution is ready to captivate visitors with its meticulously curated collection, transporting them through time and immersing them in the rich tapestry of the town’s storied past. Saturday, April 6, as they cut the ribbon at 10 a.m. and offer guided tours throughout the day, inviting visitors to explore the museum’s newly revitalized galleries and uncover the fascinating stories that have shaped the community.

Swap Bridal Gear. The Bridal Hitching Post is a two-day event taking place on Saturday, April 6 and Sunday, April 7, at the Springfield Barn in Williamsport, MD. The event is open to the public from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, and admission is free. The event is geared towards both newlyweds looking to sell their extra or leftover wedding decorations, as well as brides-to-be searching for wedding decor, an opportunity to connect with other engaged couples, and a chance to tour the Springfield Barn and its grounds. Vendors and wedding service providers will also be in attendance, making it a one-stop-shop for future brides planning their big day.
