WAYNESBORO- Waynesboro Area Senior High School enchanted audiences with their production of “Into the Woods,” a musical masterpiece featuring music by Stephen Sondheim and a captivating storyline by James Lapine. The theatrical gem intricately wove together classic fairy tales, offering a unique twist where Act 1 concluded with the characters enjoying their traditional happy endings, only to reveal the consequences of their actions in Act 2. Exploring profound themes of love, loss, hopes, and curses, the show provided a thought-provoking and emotionally rich experience for all who attended. Scheduled performances took place on Friday, March 15 at 7 p.m., Saturday, March 16 at 7 p.m., and Sunday, March 17 at 2 p.m.
