CHAMBERSBURG- Little Daisy’s Closet, a no-cost clothing ministry, is urgently seeking household goods such as pots and pans, dishes, glasses, mugs, small appliances, towels, sheets and blankets, bed pillows, utensils, silverware, and personal care items. The organization is grateful for any support and encourages donations to be dropped off on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to noon.

Donors are welcome to ask to see the closet when making their contributions, as the organization is eager to demonstrate how these donations will positively impact the community.

In addition to seeking donations, Little Daisy’s Closet is inviting individuals, families, and groups to learn more about getting involved with the organization and to socialize with current board members, volunteers, and the Leadership Franklin County group at their free informational events. The events are scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 25, from 6-7 p.m. at Coyle Free Library and Tuesday, Feb. 13 from 6-7 p.m. at Grove Family Library.

The organization also extends its gratitude to the Leadership Franklin County group for their support in creating a video and spearheading these events as part of their class project to help grow the volunteer team.
