WAYNESBORO- On Friday, Jan. 19, many of the Waynesboro area youth made the most of their snow day by bringing out their sleds to enjoy the winter weather. The National Weather Service had predicted approximately 3 inches of snowfall by Saturday morning, with a steady flurry throughout the day, creating the perfect snow day for the community. The winter wonderland in Waynesboro saw residents actively clearing sidewalks and roads, using shovels and snowplows to ensure safe passage.
