Carroll Valley Borough was recently awarded a $212,000 Greenways, Trails, and Recreation Program (GTRP) grant on Jan.16. The grant will be used to fund the construction of a 4,750 linear-foot looping trail through a forested area. This initiative is a significant step towards enhancing outdoor recreational opportunities within the borough. The project’s approval and funding are a result of the dedicated efforts of various stakeholders, including the support of Representative Moul. The new trail is expected to provide residents and visitors with a scenic and enjoyable space for walking, hiking, and connecting with nature.
