GETTYSBURG – The Waynesboro varsity boys’ basketball team started 2024 on the road as they played Gettysburg.

It was pretty much all Warriors in this Mid-Penn Colonial Division contest as Gettysburg led 17-13 after the first quarter and distanced itself in the final three quarters en route to a 67-50 win.

Gettysburg, which led 36-27 at halftime, used five three-point field goals to help its cause. Waynesboro shot 3 for 14 from the three-point arc and finished the game shooting 39 percent from two-point range. The Indians made 13 of 21 free throws.

Rayshan Frazer-Hewitt paced Waynesboro’s offense with a 16-point night. He made all three of the team’s three-pointers.

Farin Parks tallied 11 points.
