Enjoy Christmas Carols. Get ready for a magical holiday experience at Black-Coffey Caverns in Greencastle. This is the third Annual Caroling in the Caverns event, where viewers can sit back and relax in the majestic Cathedral Room and enjoy the sounds of a local church group singing traditional Christmas carols on Saturday, Dec. 10 with three seating times. Reservations are required.
Sip, Shop, and Stroll. Downtown Chambersburg Inc. will host its 4th annual Sip, Shop, & Stroll fundraiser, to be held on Saturday, Dec. 9, from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Guests aged 21+ may walk to participating vendors and enjoy various samples of locally made wine, beer, liquor, and cider throughout the event, which will be held rain or shine.
Get in the Christmas Spirit. Join the festive fun at Christmas at the Grove on Sunday, Dec. 10, from 5 to 8 p.m. Located at Rhodes Grove Camp (7693 Browns Mill Road, Chambersburg), this drive-thru experience features illuminated cottages and cabins, creating a magical winter wonderland. As participants drive through, enjoy a heartwarming narrated nativity scene, perfect for celebrating the spirit of the season.
Create a Wreath. On Saturday, Dec. 9, from 9 a.m. to noon, a Christmas Wreath & Swag Workshop will be held at the Fort Loudon Historic Fort. The workshop will provide an opportunity to create Colonial-style Christmas wreaths or swags using all supplies, nuts, and berries included. Participants are encouraged to bring a baked good item to share, and there will be refreshments available. The cost of wreaths is $60 and swags are $45, with proceeds going to Children’s Programming. Shop German Style. The Christkindl Markt Hagerstown will return for its festive celebration of local traditions and artistry. Join the community this Dec. 8 and 9 on Friday, 3 to 8 p.m., and Saturday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Attendees can immerse in the vibrant atmosphere at University Plaza in Hagerstown. Explore an array of quality artisan vendors who will showcase their unique creations. Savor delicious bites from local food vendors while enjoying live entertainment and traditional holiday cheer.
