High School Class Raises Funds for Disabled American Veterans

WAYNESBORO- In honor of Veteran’s Day, members of the Waynesboro Area High School Class of 2025 undertook a service project to raise money for Disabled American Veterans (DAV). The class organized various fundraising activities, and raised an impressive $1,000 for the organization.

DAV is a non-profit organization that provides a variety of services to disabled veterans and their families, including assistance with healthcare, employment, and education. The class’s donation will help DAV continue to provide these essential services to veterans in need.

The class’s efforts were praised by school administrators and community members alike.The class’s fundraising activities were not only successful in raising money for DAV but also in raising awareness about the organization’s work.
