CHAMBERSBURG- The Salvation Army is making it easy for companies, organizations, sports teams, churches, and groups to help this Christmas by signing up to cover a day at one of its red kettle locations.

Individuals from your group can then sign up for time slots throughout the day to ring the bell and help raise money for the Salvation Army’s mission to serve those in need.

“Your company, organization, sports team, church or group has an easy way to help us meet the need! Simply sign up to cover a day at one of our kettle locations. Individuals from your group can then sign up for time slots throughout the day. ‘Ringing the bell’ will impact many lives right here in our community!” said the Cumberland Valley Business Alliance.

To sign up, contact the Salvation Army at 717.264.6169. The Christmas effort will begin Friday, November 17 and will continue every day except Sundays until Saturday, December 23.
