Fall Into Fall. Ivy Hill Farm will host a Farm Festival on Saturday and Sunday Oct. 14 and 15, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The festival will feature food trucks, live music, fresh apple cider, homemade apple butter, a variety of vendors, a kids zone, pies with ice cream, jellies and jams, mums, pumpkins, gourds, and fall decorations. Admission is free. The farm is located at 13840 Smithsburg Pike in Smithsburg, Md.

Build a Scarecrow. Backroads Greenhouse in Chambersburg will host a scarecrow-building workshop on Sunday, Oct. 15 from 2 to 4 p.m. All materials will be provided and light refreshments will be served. The cost is $35.00 per ticket.

Shop Till You Drop. Two Top Fellowship Church will host a Fall Festival and Yard Sale on Saturday, Oct. 14, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event will feature vendors, food, drinks, ice cream, and face painting. All proceeds will benefit the church youth program. The event will be held at the church, located at 13743 Fort Loudon Rd. Mercersburg,

Experience STEAM. Hagerstown Community College will host STEAM Fest and Family Fun Day on Saturday, Oct. 14, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event is free and open to the public, and all activities will be held inside the Athletic, Recreation and Community Center. STEAM Fest is a fun and educational event for all ages, with activities designed to spark curiosity and creativity in science, technology, engineering, art, and math. There will be hands-on exhibits, demonstrations, and competitions, as well as a variety of family-friendly activities.

Enjoy Live Music. The Note Riders, a duo of Brad Munn and Brian Shermeyer, will perform at Music Makers in Waynesboro, on Friday, Oct. 13, 5:30 to 8 p.m. The Note Riders merge their diverse musical backgrounds of country, bluegrass, classic rock, and jazz fusion to create a sound that is both unique and familiar. The concert at Music Makers is free and open to the public.
