CVAS Pet of the Week: Majesty

Looking for a new friend? The Cumberland Valley Animal Shelter is featuring these Pets of the Week. For more information, visit http://www.cvas-pets.org/ or call 717-263-5791.

Majesty came into the shelter with several other dogs, whose owner could no longer care for them. She is a 1-year-old pitbull mix who knows sit and is quite food motivated. Majesty has been around children and does not mind them, as long as they are respectful of her. She can be on the shy side when she first meets someone, but does warm up quickly. She’s quite good at giving kisses, too. Do you have the right spot for Majesty?

Myrtle

Myrtle came into the shelter as a stray and the very next day, she had six kittens in her cage. Surprise! Myrtle and kittens were in foster care until they were able to find homes to call their own. Myrtle was a wonderful mom and is now ready to have a loving home to call her own. She is around 3 years old and is a very affectionate girl! She does not seem to care for the company of other felines however and prefers to have her humans all to herself. Could you help Myrtle out?
