Green Hill Cemetery in Waynesboro is hosting a 5K Race on Saturday, Aug. 12, as one of the events celebrating its sesquicentennial.
Registration will begin at 8 a.m. in the cemetery just off Cemetery Ave between
Church and Potomac streets. Parking is available along the south side of Cemetery Avenue adjacent to the cemetery.
The cost is $20 per participant. Runners of all ages and skill levels are welcome. The race will start at approximately 8:30 a.m. near the pedestrian entrance to the cemetery on the corner of Potomac Street and Cemetery Avenue and will wind through the cemetery and finish near the Green Hill Cemetery office at 953 S. Potomac St.
