WYL Major League Owls wins contest against Legion on Wednesday, 4-1
Legion got things started in the first inning when an error scored one run for Legion.
In the bottom of the first inning, WYL Major League Owls tied things up at one. Kason S grounded out, scoring one run.
WYL Major League Owls pulled away for good with three runs in the third inning. In the third Brayden H singled on a 2-2 count, scoring one run, Kason singled on a 2-0 count, scoring one run, and Zach B singled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run.
Kason led things off on the hill for WYL Major League Owls. The righty lasted four innings, allowing two hits and one run while striking out nine and walking zero.
Kaden L was on the pitcher’s mound for Legion. Kaden went five innings, allowing four runs on five hits, striking out nine and walking zero.
Alex J led WYL Major League Owls with two hits in three at bats.
