Meet our sweet, sugar-faced Pet of the Week, Diesel!
Diesel was surrendered to us when his owner could no longer care for him and he is still in search of a new home! Diesel previously lived with cats and ferrets but would need to be the only dog in the home. He has done well with kids here at the shelter but at 9 years old, children in the home will need to understand he is getting into his senior years and may need occasional breaks if he is getting tired.
Diesel’s previous owners said he was housebroken and that he is an absolute snuggle bug, and will even snuggle up under the covers in bed with you! Diesel likes to relax in his kennel and take his naps, but don’t let his age fool you! This happy boy loves to run and play still and is a big fan of stuffed toys. In addition to his toys, Diesel is a big fan of treats of any kind! He walks nicely on the leash and loves going out to the yard to play or taking a short stroll. Diesel likes to explore the world at his own pace and can occasionally have some selective hearing when he is interested in doing his own thing.
We would love to see this senior pup find a home to relax his golden years away in! If you are looking for a constantly happy and loveable dog, Diesel is definitely your boy!
