CHAMBERSBURG- Dutchfest returns to Chambersburg this May with food concessions featuring pork BBQ, and home-style Dutch foods, craft show, yard sale, and a used book sale.
The event is a fundraiser for Shalom Christian Academy and will be held May 5-6 at the school.
Saturday will feature a 5k and children’s fun walk with more great food including chicken barbecue.
Children’s activities all weekend include: a dino dig, star ring toss, crazy hats, coloring activity, crafts, matching duck game, monster knock down, barrel rides, face painting, and bounce houses.
Live auctions all weekend on items such as: trips, tickets, handmade quilts, furniture, jewelry, handmade items, collectors items and more patrons can bid on items in person or online. Friday at 7 p.m. in the main tent there will be a live heifer auction.
Dutchfest is Friday, May 5 at 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday, May 6, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Shalom Christian Academy, 126 Social Island Road in Chambersburg. Admission is free and the event is rain or shine.
