Say ‘Hello’ to our quirky Pet of the Week, Buster! Little Buster has unfortunately been with us now for over 250 days, but we know the right home for him is out there waiting for him! Buster would not do well in a home with cats or young children, and would thrive in a low energy household. He has previously done well with meeting laid-back female dogs but does not do well with males or rambunctious younger dogs. This five-year old boy has been getting spoiled and enjoying lunchtime car rides with staff while he learns to be more social, and has done well every drive. Buster still has his perky moments and loves to go for walks or run around the yard with his stuffed toys! He would benefit from some reminders on his basic training but walks well with the help of a harness. Buster does not enjoy being picked up and held by strangers but once he is comfortable, he will come to be picked up on his own terms. We would recommend that he has 4-paws on the floor until he is seeking attention and to be held! Once he is friends with someone, he loves to curl up in laps and take a snooze. If you feel Buster would be a good fit for your home, you can stop by and meet this cutie today!
