5 Things to Do This Weekend: April 21-23

Support the arts. The WASHS Spring Art Show opens today, April 21, at 5:30 p.m. at Gallery 50. A reception will be held from 5:30 – 7:30 pm. Cloud 242 will be playing next door in Music Makers during the opening.

Enjoy a garden market. Grayce Gardens in Chambersburg will host the 2nd Annual Spring Market Saturday, April 22, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Shop from a wide variety of handmade vendors, grab food from food trucks, and enjoy live music. The greenhouse will be full of all things spring, along with a Bloom Bar for you to make your own bouquet.

Grab some grub. The Downtown Chambersburg Food Truck Festival will be held Sunday, April 23, at 11 a.m. in downtown Chambersburg. The event includes food trucks, crafts and music.

Grab some more grub. The 2023 Downtown Food Stroll will be held at Main Street Park in Waynesboro Sunday, April 23, from 2 to 6 p.m. More than a dozen places will be open to sample delicious foods and drink from our historic downtown. Tickets cost $25 in advance and $30 at the door.

Listen to the classics—for free! The Shippensburg University Community Orchestra, directed by Dr. Mark Hartman, will offer an evening of Beethoven from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, April 23, in the Luhrs Performing Arts Center.
