The Institute Presents Spring Wee Wonder Series for Preschoolers

Trevor Grossnickle made a ladybug from a sea shell during a past session of The Institute’s Wee Wonders program. A new series of the programs for preschoolers is scheduled this spring at Pine Hill Recreation Area, beginning April 24.

WAYNESBORO- The Institute is offering a series of four outdoor nature programs for preschoolers in April and May.

Designed for children ages 2.5 to 5, the Wee Wonder programs will run on Mondays, April 24, and May 1, 8 and 15, from 9:45 to 11 a.m. at Pine Hill Recreation Area in Waynesboro, Pa.

Taught by Institute educators, age-appropriate program activities include exploring the outdoors, hikes, nature stories, rhymes, finger plays, nature games, and puppets.

Pre-registration for the full series and payment in advance are required by April 20.The fee for all four programs is $28 for members of The Institute, and $32 for the general public, per child.
