WAYNE

Meet our sweet faced pet of the week, Lieutenant Wayne! This handsome boy was found at the dog park in Waynesboro and was left there by himself. He is now looking for a place that he can call his forever home! Lieutenant Wayne came in with a lot of skin issues, but with some TLC, his skin has improved. He is a very sweet boy and is looking for a caretaker that will not leave him ever again. He needs some work on the leash, so a harness would be beneficial as he works on learning more manners. He has come a long way since coming in with the help of our volunteers and staff and is on a great path to walking politely! This hefty boy loves playing with squeaky toys and playing in the yard at his own pace. Wayne is a heavy sleeper and likes to do nothing more than curl up and take a good nap after spending all his energy! He does not do well with cats and has been hit-or-miss with other dogs; typically doing better with female dogs over males. He does like kids and he enjoys affection! Lieutenant Wayne is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. Stop in to meet this handsome hunk today!
