BLUE RIDGE SUMMIT–The Monterey Pass Park Trail Project has been awarded the Spirit of South Mountain by the South Mountain Partnership.
The award is presented annually to an individual, project or organization that has made a significant contribution to the landscape and advances the mission of the South Mountain Partnership.
The Monterey Pass Park Trail Project is located just outside of Waynesboro and is a 125-acre natural, cultural, and historical park.
